Week 32 - Donna Troy (again!) By Rich Bernatovech
Since we have two weeks now to get our drawings done for Illustrious Bits, I decided to do another sketch for this week's theme: Donna Troy. Since I already drew her Wondergirl look, I thought I'd do her adult "Troia" look (she later dropped the codename and just went by Donna Troy). I had fun with the hair and the stars. :)

I am not unhappy about how this one came out.

Week 32 - Donna Troy by Randy Ostridge
"This image is for a weekly theme over at the Illustrious Bits sketch group.
Here is Donna Troy, in her Wonder Girl garb. I am not that well-versed in Teen Titans lore, so I don't know a lot about her character. She was fun to draw though. I decided to give her costume a more reflective surface mainly because I thought it'd be fun to draw. Totally non-canon.
All Photoshop."

Week 32 - Donna Troy by Maja Cronvall
"Hello Everybody!
I have been on quite a Marker-sketch roll of late. Ever since I bought new markers I have never been able to put them down. So for all of you guys, here's a new Marker drawing, this time for the weekly challenge at !
This week's theme was Donna Troy: Another character I have never drawn but so happy I was given the chance to. I was originally gonna color this really bright and stuff but understood halfway that it didn't turned out as I wanted it to...So here is just a fixed up version with some yellow colors. :3
I know I also screwed up on some of the anatomy on this...I have a new drawing desk for the moment that isn't tilted as my usual one, so Im unable to see all of it at the same time. My excuses.
Enjoy!

Week 32 - Donna Troy By Rich Bernatovech
The theme for week 32 of Illustrious Bits is Donna Troy. I decided to draw Donna in her classic Wondergirl outfit since she's getting a bit of a revival with the DC Nation cartoon of her (along with Batgirl and Supergirl) as the "Super Best Friends Forever". Donna is a tough character to draw because she's had three artists who have really defined her look; Nick Cardy, George Perez and Phil Jimenez. Still, this was a fun sketch and topic for the week. If I have time, I might try another version of her.

Week 31 - Red Robin by Randy Ostridge
"This image is for a weekly theme over at the Illustrious Bits sketch group.
The theme was one of the Robin's from the Batman family. I chose Dick Grayson as the Red Robin from Kingdom Come. Man, I love that series. Anyways, I wanted to do something with a really strong silhouette, and this is where I ended up.
Pencil on paper, inked with warm gray, cool gray, and black markers."

Week 31 - Robin by Maja Cronvall
Welcome to Illistrious Bits, Maja!
"Hello Everybody!
This is my first-ever entry to the amazing group of which I just now requested to become a contributor to and got in. So...Wish me good luck and thank you for letting me in!
So this week it was asked to draw any of the Robins...I began to think which one was my favorite and was first about to go for Nightwing, but then remembered my all-time favorite Robin: Damien Wayne.
I don't know if I made him too old looking in this but... yeah. I like it.
This was drawn after a session of a drawing workshop I had at my part-summer job at a camp. I kinda felt like drawing afterwards and had this to make, so it was decided. c:
So like, Enjoy!

Week 31 - Nightwing and Robin by Gavin Michelli
"I'm hoping that the folks at DC are going to do something concerning the obvious similarity between these two costumes...but I'm not holding my breat This is a piece that I've wanted to do ever since I first saw the New 52 Nightwing suit, and finally gave me an excuse!
And yes, I played up the similarities by giving Nightwing that belt and Batman the lines around his neck and wrists. Don't judge me."

"I would really like Damian's current costume, if not for all of the green. Really, it's hard to take someone seriously when they're dressed in christmas colors. I mean really, green boots with red laces? Is he supposed to be an elf?
The cape is kinda reminiscent of Ra's al Ghul's, even though if you take the original Dick Grayson Robin cape and pop the collar, that's pretty much what it would look like. So it's kind of a nod to both, I guess. The sword is another nod to D's grampa, but of course, he wouldn't use that as a killing weapon...right? "

Hate to admit it but this is the version of Cable I prefer, he he. Thanks again Gavin.

"For Rob Liefeld week. Oh, the 90's. How I've missed your strange anatomy, cybernetic limbs, huge shoulder pads, and enormous guns drawn with absolutely no research. I could have drawn a current version of Cable...but I say thee nay. Here is Cable at his most Liefeldian."

Week 30 -Cable By Rich Bernatovech
Here is the last of the three sketches I did for this week's "any character created by Rob Liefeld" theme on Illustrious Bits. I had a blast doing these and wish I had time to do more. Maybe next time! For now though, here is Cable from the X-Men. I can't believe it, but I honestly don't think I've ever drawn him before. I tried to give him a slightly Liefeldian chest here too, lol.

Week 30 - Deadpool By Rich Bernatovech
Here's another sketch done for Illustrious Bits week 30 theme, "any character created by Rob Liefeld". I had wanted to do a few sketches for this week, but was only able to get three done, all of them being Marvel characters. Here's a quick Deadpool headshot.
