Here's Danielle Alexis St. Pierre's entry for Illustrious Bits Week 8! Here's what Danielle had to say about her pick for the "any character from She-Ra" theme. "It's been a while since I posted anything to so I decided to do a quick piece today. This week's subject is any character from the She-Ra cartoon and well I went with the Princess of Power herself... mostly because I didn't have a lot of time to look up references of the other characters hehe. I'm not too happy with the inks I did... I rushed them and feel like they look mangled. But it's practice... and practice is a good thing."

"This image is for a weekly theme over at the Illustrious Bits sketch group.Hordak, leader of the Horde, sitting down after another long day of being defeated. You have to respect the perennial bad guys that never see a single victory. They are a resilient group. Sometimes I wonder what keeps them going, with only a list of failed plans to reflect upon. Probably the royalties from all the merchandise.Pencil on paper, then inked with cool gray and black markers."

Week 8 - She-Ra By Rich Bernatovech

Here's my submission for Week 8 of Illustrious Bits. The subject this week was picked by fans over at Deviant Art and it's any character from the animated series, She-Ra. Since I really don't know much about this series or any of the characters except She-Ra, I decided to draw her. Fun character to draw!

Week 8 - Catra by Andrew Charipar

OK, I will admit, I knew NOTHING about She-Ra (other than the name) and knew nothing about the characters in her universe so...

I had to do the good-old google searchin' and found Catra.  She's a villain in the She-Ra universe.  In doing my research, I found the original costume as well as several different re-designs and I did my own version of the character.

I like her, and I think that's why this sketch got done so quickly.  I did the sketch layout yesterday and finished it this evening.  Pretty quick.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone else does.
