Week 39 - Lulu by Rich Bernatovech

"Just in the nick of time, here is my entry for this week's theme on :iconillustriousbits:. The theme for this week is any character from Final Fantasy. I honestly don't know anything about Final Fantasy, so I picked a character that I found interesting visually. This is Lulu is from Final Fantasy X and specializes in the art of Black Magic, using various dolls to help cast spells.

Week 39 - Rikku by Danielle Alexis St. Pierre

"This week over at :iconillustriousbits: is "Any Final Fantasy Character". I've never played the games (although after researching the characters I'd like to hehe) so I pretty much chose Rikku based on her look. I love her hair!!

While drawing this I feel like I got in touch with my inner anime fan (mostly in the face... especially how big I made the eyes). And you know what? I liked it! I may have to explore this style a little further. :D

Ok... back to coloring commissions.

Oh and yes, I know I left the sleeves off her outfit. I didn't realize it until after I was halfway finished with the inks.
My bad. :movingon:

Feel free to color my lineart. The only conditions are:
- Credit me for the original lineart (including a link to my deviantArt page)
- The lineart is for practice only! Do not sell or reproduce or post to another site.

Emma Frost by Maja Cronvall

"So...This was really supposed to be for the re-visit week a while ago, but it's a week I completely missed out at uploading. So I thought I could be a tad bit sneaky and re-do some stuff and then upload it anyway!

This week at :iconillustriousbits: It's time for Chris Claremont characters. As lucky as I am, Emma Frost was also one of his creations, the same one I was doing for revisit week. Lucky me!

So here she is.
I don't know what else to write.
So enjoy!

Week 38 - Deathbird by Randy Ostridge

"This image is for a weekly theme over at the Illustrious Bits sketch group.

The theme for my sketch group was any character created by Chris Claremont. So I decided to head into the Shi'ar mythology and pluck out Deathbird. I had fun with this one, as rendering her armor really allowed me to mix the cool and warm grays effectively. The armor details were fun, although the cabling got kind of tedious. I wanted her to have a smirk on her face that belied her true intentions, but I'm not sure I nailed it. In the end, it was an enjoyable piece.

Pencil on paper. Inked with warm gray, cool gray, and black markers."

Week 38 - Rouge by Rich Bernatovech

"Here is my last minute submission for this week 38's theme on Illustrious Bits. Originally, I planned to do my Classic X-Men collage for this, but I realized after I finished that Claremont did not create every character I drew. Luckily, I did all of the art in pieces and individually. :)
So, I decided to color Rogue and use her alone as my entry for week 38.

Week 38 - Kitty Pryde by Danielle Alexis St. Pierre

"This weeks challenge over at :iconillustriousbits: is "Any Character created by Chris Claremont" and I chose to draw Kitty Pryde.

I wanted to try something new with my inks in an attempt to help them stand out and add a little more line weight. Inking is definitely not my strongest skill... but I did have a lot of fun playing around with them on this piece. :D

Feel free to color my lineart. The only conditions are:
- Credit me for the original lineart (including a link to my deviantArt page)
- The lineart is for practice only! Do not sell or reproduce or post to another site.

Week 37 - Drax by Randy Ostridge

"This image is for a weekly theme over at the Illustrious Bits sketch group.

The theme for my weekly sketch group was any character that is green. I went with Drax the Destroyer from his Infinity Gauntlet days. He has changed a lot since then. Fun little sketch, although I wouldn't say I hit this one out of the park.

Pencil on paper, coloured in Photoshop."

Week 37 - Ms Martian By Rich Bernatovech

This week's theme on Illustrious Bits was any character with green skin. I actually picked this week's theme and intended to do a few different characters. But this being the week before the 2012 New York Comicon (NYCC), I have a ton of things to do and was only able to get one sketch done. I decided to draw Ms Martian from Teen Titans (and later the Young Justice cartoon). Not wild about the background pattern I did and this was kind of a rush sketch.

Week 37 - Serpenta by Andrew Charipar

This one is actually helping me with three things at once...

First, Serpenta from Rich Bernatovech's Sentinels is a Green skinned character (perfect for Illustrious Bits Week 37).  Second, it's the perfect gift for Rich, who I will be seeing next week at the New York Comic Con and third... It's my 100th sketch in my 100 Sketches in 101 Days.  Whoo Hoo!

enjoy

Week 37 - Fire by Dwayne Biddix

"Digital art: Dwayne Biddix
A drawing for :iconillustriousbits: draw challenge. The new challenge is to draw someone with green skin. At first i was going to draw Hulk or She-Hulk but it felt too obvious of a choice. So I dug around and found Fire. She is not a character I know well but I thought she would be a good character to draw. So here we are!
Enjoy.
